Od nowa opened its doors in January 2013, beginning as a small practice based out of a private office. In 2015, a landmark year for our centre, we moved into our new offices of Podwale 62 and began the gradual expansion of our professional staff. Invested with the trust of our clients, we were able to create a comfortable and welcoming space from which we continue our work to constantly improve the quality of our services.
Meet our English-speaking team of expert psychiatrist, psychotherapists and psychologists. We’re all licensed clinicians dedicated to provide professional mental health care.
All the specialists in our Center are regularly supervised. A clinical supervision is a consultation with a more experienced therapist who has a supervision diploma. It helps the therapist to stay objective about client’s problems and run the therapy according to up-to-date knowledge and modern standards.
Alongside regular sessions of clinical supervision run by a supervisor, all the members of our team take part in peer supervisions in the group of the Centre’s psychotherapists. It is aimed at further support and consultations in current troubles which might come across during the therapeutic process.
Every Od Nowa Centre’s therapist is a member of Polskie Towarzystwo Terapii Poznawczej i Behawioralnej (PTTPB; ang. The Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy – PACBT). It involves being obliged by PTTPB’s Ethical Code and work standards during the therapy and having the process regularly verified. Each licensed psychotherapist is required to renew the certification every five years.
